Monks bench…..

Wonderfully patinated Welsh monks bench. Circa 1760-1780

A great country house piece of multi functional furniture.

Can be used as a double settle, or with single side table, the seat lifts revealing useful storage space for shoes, or blankets.

In rich dark chestnut wood. The seat lid has been replaced at some point in the past.

Height 118cm (please note the back right hand side is fixed so only the left drops)
