Pretty antique alpine oil painting…

The hills are alive….I can almost taste the fresh, mountainous air coming from this atmospheric little oil painting.

Believed to be set in France, with a sweet alpine village set before distant mountain peaks, I adore the soft colour palette created.

Signed but indecipherable, this oil on board measures 35cm high x 27cm wide.

There are some chips to the paint along the edges but overall in great vintage condition.
